Power

They say “with great power comes great responsibility”,

But I never understood,

Is it A Powerful world or A responsible one?

Hints of power are solemnly framed,

Within the minds of harassed victims,

and through coins of desired dictation.

Doubts on responsibility are thus outlined,

That the thought leading this subject is:

I am powerless; it’s not a responsibility of mine.

Their inner guilt is powerless; the will is powerless,

The mirror still exists, yet behind the curtains,

The force to unclothe it, such pious soul is powerless.

Till power is derived from votes and bucks,

Responsible words will remain confined,

And our existence still pre-defined.

Philosophy of colours

The way I cherish virgin white pages,

No other shade can ever do.

Still blissful occasions avert my presence,

As darkness is what, I am referred to.

-Black

I relinquish my virginity,

With the slightest of splash.

Still my tranquility persists,

Dumping the havoc in trash.

-White

My birth evanesce sharp boundaries,

leading to the altruistic union.

I can push intelligence in matter,

Even my name may deteriorate a section.

-Grey

I signify romance and relation,

Still flow with hatred and division.

I can make you feel distinguished,

And even I can send you off the field.

-Red

Seldom I am lighter shade of love,

Else my soul only receives disgust.

I refuse to be associated with gender,

Rather I want to stand parallel to “the Best”.

-Pink

Within music, I am depressed,

Being with films, I highly regret.

To me, I want to be the” unknown”,

touching dry heights and wet depths.

-Blue

Vajood Vidaa...

Labdii see pehla sard raata ch tennu,

Hun ek khullad chaa toh hi rajdi aa,

Chhaddya tu yaa main tennu,

Haal dono daa ekko jaya,

Sajke hun sajna kii karna ,

Jadd dekhhan wala hi chhad gaya!

.

.

.

Vajood Vidaa,

Majoor fizaa,

Bin dhue hi jali yeh chita!

Vajood Vidaa…

Tere, mere,

Rishtey ka!

Buland aawaaz karo kaese?

Dosh teri jholi bharo kaese?

Shor ko bezubaa kaho kaese?

Doriyaan dekh chup raho kaese?

Vajood Vidaa,

Dastoor sazaa,

Kuchh boondo se hi rang mita!

Vajood Vidaa...

Tere, mere,

Rishtey ka!

Judaai hase juda main kab,

Aaina hi jhootha laage jab,

Sochu bharo unme rang abb,

Par dhol jae sang sang sab!

.

.

.

.

And I still believe in love,

Since I had once been in love!

...

Th love in me- liquid of infinite viscosity,
It won't melt, rather it ll sear my soul!

Soul- splitting into two halfs,
no part showing any intact quote!
.
.
.
.
.
If its time for the last word of my page, It should be love..!!

Obscure(2)…

Thoughts that evaporated,

Desire to condense on an untouched page!

They can’t retain the same site,

Hence, one again, they are obscure!

Uss boond ki tamanna…

Kahi gir, gum hone ki tamanna nahi,

Sagar mei gote lagana chaho main.

Naam na milega “moti” sa mujhe,

Par chhor chhone ka yahi zariya chaho main.

Lehre toh chahegi dooriyaa laana,

Phir bhi sang chalna ho toh aaj raat aajana!

.

.

.

I even want someone to knock my door,

Still I prefer being locked by my neighbor.

.

.

For me,

It needs to be obscure…

Obscure…

Brimming emotions, yet resisting catharsis!
I am set to pen down, under an obscure mode!

Ek Zarre ki khwaaish…

Tham jaoga main thodi nami se,
Chhupai tere naino ne jo khushi mein.
Darbadar bhatakne ki fidrat chhod,
Pura hona chahta hoon issi zindagi mein!

.
.
I want someone to track my shade,
Still I prefer switching off the light!
.
.
.
For me,
It need to be obscure…

Untitled...punjabi poem..

“The heart was made to be broken.”
Oscar Wilde

Jogann kendi aa…
Sadde saanjhe supne main vekhdi rayi,
Te mahi mera kinniya raata sutta c nai,
Akhkha khulli der raat te main kalli c khadi,
Jiththe kal c amrit hun anjhua di nadi bahii!
.
.
Karda c pyaar o mainnu hun tak aetbaar,
Twadde darr ne kitta c o akhkhara da waar,
Kedi darrdi nabj rishte da naa badal gai,
Unnu hune v supna maan akhkha band kar payi!
.
.
Oude waapas aan di chah ch sajdi aa,
Ae karke main roj swer bue te bendi aa,
O de aan de weham ch muk jave naa hun jindri,
Hunn raata nu ae soch hi main dardi aa!
.
.
Rishta naa badal gaya, te darr apni roh,
Rab di mehr hunn main v badli soch rakhdi:

“Haiga o mera ta Rab ne appe sannu kol kar dena,
Vakhari je saddi rah, koi naa sannu ek kr sakda!”

.
.

“Relationships are like glass. Sometimes it's better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together.”
